Overview

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) is an Insurance Scheme that covers accidental death and disability due to an accident.

Policy Period: Coverage shall be for one year starting from 1st June to 31st May of next year, coverage will be auto renewed every year.

Premium: ₹20 per annum.

Eligibility

The scheme is eligible for the resident customers with a Bank account including BSBD account. All individual bank account holders in the age group of 18 to 70 years in participating banks will be entitled to join this scheme.

Risk Coverage

• ₹2 lakh for accidental death.
• ₹1 lakh for disability.

How to enrol in the scheme?

PMSBY application forms are available in all our Bank Branches. Our customers can approach the nearest branch / Business Correspondents and join the scheme.
